Lafayette 150 in 1

 

This little beauty consisted of a folding wooden case and contained:

• CdS light dependent resistor
• Silicon solar cell
• 'Integrated circuit' - this contained several printed film resistors, a DO-35 diode and a strange small package transistor, all on a ceramic PCB
• Micro ammeter
• Bulb
• Ferrite aerial and variable capacitor
• Potentiometer
• Slide switch
• SPST relay
• Loudspeaker
• Battery boxes - 2 x C cell plus PP3
• A further transistor of Japanese origin (2SA or 2SB) in a TO-1 case
• Audio input and output transformers
• A range of non-preferred value resistors ( 1k, 2k 5k etc. I think)
• A range of capacitors, ceramic and electrolytic
• A 'Morse' key switch
• Lots of springs as the component connections

Wish I still had it!
